About us

At Tandem OT, we believe that meaningful progress begins with understanding.

We provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and consultation for children and adolescents experiencing functional challenges related to neurodiversity, executive functioning, sensory processing, motor coordination, and emotional wellbeing.

Helpling families

Our work is centred on helping families make sense of the everyday challenges their child may be experiencing ,  whether that looks like struggles with organisation, emotional regulation, independence, coordination, sensory overwhelm, participation at school, or managing daily routines at home.

Meet Linda

I’m Linda Palmer, a CORU-registered Occupational Therapist with over 14 years of experience supporting families to overcome barriers to living fulfilling lives. My clinical work has developed a particular focus in supporting functional differences associated with ADHD, executive functioning challenges, motor coordination differences, and sensory processing.

My approach combines evidence-based occupational therapy practice with a warm, practical, family-centred perspective. My knowledge of Occupational Performance Coaching shapes the collaborative way I work with families, helping parents feel empowered, capable, and confident in supporting change within everyday life. I am also currently undertaking postgraduate training in Sensory Integration, further strengthening my understanding of how sensory processing impacts participation, regulation, and function.

As a mother of three, I understand that when a child is struggling, families often don’t just need answers, they need clarity, practical direction, and a plan that feels realistic and achievable.

That is exactly what Tandem OT aims to provide.
